STAND-4-CHRIST - THE HEALER

     In todays world we are presented with many theories for illness and other maladies and afflictions; and blessed with many good persons that are truly medical healers. The Christian thanks GOD for these blessings knowing he is in control of all things.

What is strange is that in the modern world, GOD and His laws are denied by many, especially liberals and liberal governments. Nothing is as odd as removing prayer (to the One true God) from schools - the one thing (prayer) that is essential to our being (not an opinion, but an historical FACT!) And, instead of seeking healing, people, sadly, are encouraged to "do their thing", "be one's self", ignoring accepted guidelines for morality and especially "faith" that allows souls to be healed of their afflictions. The Scriptures report that in the time of Christ, people came from all Judea to be healed. One touch of Christ (by the faithful) was all that was need!!! But where is this taught? Instead people are deceived to promote false truths often leading to slavery (the slavery of SIN!) Such is the environment of the world, that people face while trying to make sense of their surroundings having failed to succeed, or in failing to "get rid of" ailments or addictions that control them to their detriment.

We are called to repent and have faith in Jesus Christ the healer. To be disciplined in prayer. And, commit ourselves to His "grace and healing."

Miracles happen, but often healing is a process of understanding, walking daily in hand with Jesus Christ, and in time realizing you have the strenth to overcome, to refuse temptation, and to "grow" into what God intended - a resourceful and loving human being.

Christ founded His One Holy Church more than two thousand years ago. One body, One faith, One teaching.
